Before: Cheques were exchanged physically by bank representatives in each island.

Now: Cheques will be exchanged electronically.

 

Before: Funds for regional cheques took weeks to become available.

Now: Funds would be available in three (3) business days providing there is no holiday in any of the related islands.

 

Before: Customers issued cheques on unavailable funds.

Now: Customers must ensure that funds are available on their account prior to issuing a cheque

 

Before: Processed cheques were returned to customers with bank statements.
